A pair of suspects stand accused of murder after the jailhouse death of former Lostprophets singer and adjudicated child sex criminal Ian Watkins.
Samuel Dodsworth, 43, and Rashid Gedel, 25 now face murder accusations and are set to face Leeds magistrates’ court on Monday morning, as stated by law enforcement officials.
Watkins, forty-eight, was undergoing a 29-year incarceration at HMP Wakefield, plus an additional six years on license, after confessing to numerous sex crimes among them the attempted rape of a baby.
Watkins was apprehended subsequent to a narcotics search warrant at his Pontypridd home on 21 September 2012, when a substantial collection of electronic devices including computers, phones and drives were taken as evidence.
